Technology Museum!!

On Thursday June 7th we went the East coast Technology Museum. For the past few weeks we were learning about Retro tech and we had items that we had to find out about. My groups item was a hair dryer and we had to make an advertisement to show our class and we worked on it for while.

When we went the museum, we showed our mums and dads and see if we were right and if our item was a hair dryer.

Our item was a hair dryer because when we first got our item we did not know what it was. When we opened our item it gave it away because there was like a head spot on the item. Also everybody yelled out saying that it was a hair dryer.

When we were at the museum we had a tour around the area. My favorite part of the museum was when we went to the fire truck area. We had find our item in a this area and there was lots hair dryers in the back of the building. There was an army room and there were some big tanks the room.

Math STRAND!

On June 4 Tuesday my maths group did running and we had figure out how many meters per second and see how many kilometers per hour. I had really good times on both. Here is a screencastify to so my working.

First on the kilometer run that we did I got 4 minutes and then we had to figure out what number went with 4. That added up to 1000 because 1000 meters is the same as 1 kilometer.

Then the number that I found, I made it into decimal and then the first two numbers that I got was my answer.

E-VILLAGE!

On Thursday 9th May we went to the E-Village in Gisborne and learnt about all the gisborne electricity. We got to go on E scooter and to use robots and also these challenge, they was a big wire and if you touched it then it beep sound that means you  to restart.

I was super happy because I made it through and I got a lollipop. I learnt how most of our electricity comes from our water electricity plants around gisborne and the electricity is formed because of the power of the water crashing to make electricity.

We went there to find out about electricity and I learnt a lot.We got there by driving to the Tairawhiti Museum and walked to the E Village. We went to the E Village to learn electricity and to have fun.

Best Blogger Ever!

Today I will be telling you to be the best blogger ever. First you check if you have a clear and juicy title like mine. Then you check if you have content that you will require in your writing. Then you check if you have put in your punctuation and capital letters.

Then you put in blog requirements a one is a title, description of the learning, task, labels. For a two the blog requirements are a catchy title, 1 or 2 paragraphs description of the task explaining what I learned, relevant labels.

For a three the blog requirements are a catchy title, 1 or 2 paragraphs description of the task explaining what I learned and what I found difficult, relevant labels to tag your blog post. Next you will need to have a good layout to show that you have a three.

That's how to be a good blogger.

Learning Division

On Tuesday 2th April I learnet how to do long division. Here is a hard problem 4890 div 5. If you already know then this blog post it's not for you.

Here is a picture of the problem. First how many 5s can you fit into 4 =0 right. Then you find how many 5s fit into 48 =9 then with the leftover numbers witch is 3 then you put it over the 8 and next to the 9. Now you find how many 5s fit into 39 =7 then you will have 4 leftover and put it over the 9 next to the 0.

Now you find how many 5s fit into 40 =8. After you have done all of that then. All your answers will make the big answer. THIS IS THE ANSWER= 978.
