This week our Quick Writes were based on the Winter Solstice. One of the Quick Writes was on Google My Maps and we had to find out about the places Stonehenge, Newgrange, Maeshowe. On Google My Maps we had find where the places were and some information about the place. The Winter Solstice in Scotland at the Monument Newgrange.
Newgrange is famous for when the Winter Solstice happens it lines up the door way. The Stonehenge is famous for it's amazing sun set. The sun lines up with the two pillars. Maeshowe is famous for it's awesome sun rise. It rise right over the passage grave.

Math STRAND!
On June 4 Tuesday my maths group did running and we had figure out how many meters per second and see how many kilometers per hour. I had really good times on both. Here is a screencastify to so my working.
First on the kilometer run that we did I got 4 minutes and then we had to figure out what number went with 4. That added up to 1000 because 1000 meters is the same as 1 kilometer.
Then the number that I found, I made it into decimal and then the first two numbers that I got was my answer.
